Beneath the illusions

The story so far…

Magic has always been a big part of my life because it was a gift that was passed down to me at a young age. My grandfather was a magician. And he handed down his tricks to my uncle, who taught my mum. When I was little, my mum would perform for my kindergarten school mates and I would be her little assistant, passing her all the props with much excitement. As I grew older, she taught me more and more tricks until I started developing my own. Growing up, magic helped me to cope with having Dyslexia and ADD, it also taught me of the value of self-expression and creativity.

It’s been awhile since then. As you can tell, my love affair with magic is still going strong. Since completing a degree in Communications and a minor in Drama and Performance, I use my knowledge behind the science and craft of storytelling to transform my magic into an intimate experience.
